La Maremmana was born in 2013 from an idea of Guido Pallini. After working in London, in a Japanese investment bank, he decided to return to his homeland and relaunch the family business that until then only produced milk, expanding it into cheese production. We cultivate the land responsibly, breed our animals with the utmost care for their well-being, carefully process the milk from our buffaloes into a variety of cheeses, and produce renewable energy in our biogas plant. Our philosophy is based on respect for animals and the cycles of nature. We hold ourselves accountable for our ethical and environmental standards and are happy to show you what we do.
