The experience starts with the visit to the cellar where you will have a welcome aperitif. The experience ends in the picnic area where you will have “merenda sinoira”, an authentic tradition of Monferrato region.
The “merenda sinoira” is an ancient Piedmontese ritual, it is a proper afternoon snack/dinner that farmers used to have before going back to work around 5:00-6:00 in the afternoon, in the farm. This is not just an afternoon snack so be ready for a rich buffet of typical local dishes such as veal with tuna sauce, tomini cheese “al verde”, peppers with “bagna cauda”, cardoon flan with fondue, Oliver salad and other typical Piedmontese dishes (depending on seasonal availability).
You will also have a delicious selection of cheeses (with sauces), local cured meat, artisanal bread and breadsticks, a first course and bruschette to warm up on the bbq in the picnic area. Then artisanal yoghurt, fruit and the famous amaretti biscuits of Mombaruzzo.
All the courses are served with our wine in wine glasses. Kitchenware are compostable and recyclable.
