0.0 / 5Come discover the Cinque Quinti site in Cella Monte, which joined the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy in July 2018. A visit to our historic winery, and our infernots, followed by a tasting of our labels.
Infernots are small underground caves, dug entirely by hand between 1800 and 1850, where wine is still aged in a bottle today. They allowed the Monferrato area to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014.
Following the visit we sit on our panoramic terrace or in the fireplace-warmed indoor room for a tasting of our wines.

What to expect
Available times are 11 a.m., 1 p.m. (weekends only), 3 p.m., 5 p.m.
We begin with a guided tour of the historic winery and Infernot lasting about 20 20/25 minutes. Afterwards we sit down for wine tasting accompanied for those who like by a small cutting board. At the end it is possible to purchase the wines tasted and more.
The tasting includes the tasting of 4 wines:
- Carisa - Barbera del Monferrato
- Solista - Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC
- Dedalo - Monferrato DOC Bianco, Arneis grapes
- Mariulin - Piedmont DOC Chardonnay, Martinotti Method Brut sparkling wine
Small board of local products: cured meats, cheeses, seasonal bruschettas (1 per person)
Parking: enter Bar Carpino, Via Circonvallazione 1, 15034, Cella Monte (AL) on your navigator and then you can walk there, about 300 meters.
