0.0 / 5You will try the evocative experience of transhumance, or the accompaniment of a herd from the village of Sordevolo to the mountain pasture, together with the shepherdess Elisa and her family. You will descend, with a short walk, to the Trappa di Sordevolo where you can take a shower and have lunch with local products from the Slow Food Travel Montagne Biellesi Community.
In the afternoon, when the experience is over, you can rest freely on the lawn or visit the building, a former monastery now an Ecomuseum of the Constructive Tradition.

What to expect
10:00 a.m. Meeting in front of the church in the hamlet of Verdobbio (Sordevolo), moment
convivial with Elisa and her family sharing bread, stories, cheese and wine.
10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. uphill trail (trails, asphalt and dirt roads) of about 5km accompanying the
Elisa's herd, to the junction for the Trappa Sordevolo, greetings
12:40 pm arrival at Trappa di Sordevolo, shower and lunch.
