Discover the ancient art of Sicilian dairy farming with an authentic experience that takes you from pasture to cheese, in the beautiful setting of the hills above Palermo, overlooking the Conca d'Oro. The adventure begins with an encounter with the herd: you will enter the barn and, with the help of Giovanni, an expert shepherd, you will try manual milking of the baby goats, including the friendly little goat Angelina. The freshly milked milk will be the starting point for the second part of the experience, where, with Marta in our mini dairy farm, you will witness the processing of milk: from Tuma, a typical Sicilian cheese, to freshly made ricotta, discovering techniques handed down through generations.
