Camugliano, one of the most important estates in Tuscany, property of the Niccolini since 1637, is a place where everything is preserved with love and passion. The interlacement of its secular history with the life of the family personalities is visible walking in the park to discover the extraordinary architectonical complex around the Medician Villa. Several antique farmhouses immersed in nature in different parts of the estate have been carefully restored, from the most exclusive for long stay to the more accessible and became holiday mansions for guests enjoying the genuine Tuscan lifestyle. The Camugliano Estate, organically farmed for the past twenty years and more, is one of the first in Italy to indicate on the label the parcel of land on which the product has been grown. With enormous passion and commitment this philosophy is applied to every type of crop whose subsequent production cycle continues on the estate itself or with the collaboration of small organic businesses like the pasta factory or the oil mill. Careful attention is dedicated to early olive picking. The chick peas and spelt too with their packaging confirm our respect for the environment. The same applies to our flours, notably buckwheat, and for the pasta strictly made from Cappelli Grano Antico wheat flour ground at the estate's artisan mill at Ponsacco in the province of Pisa. The delicate and flavoursome organic apricot jam is prepared at the Locanda with no added preservatives. Our lands were famous in the past also for their vineyards as testified by the historic cellars, partially renovated to enable the glorious wine growing tradition to flourish again. The beehives within the Estate produce organic wildflower, sunflower honey and honey from other essences linked with the territory’s seasonal and spontaneous agricultural productions.
