Cantina Costantini

In Genzano di Roma, in the heart of the Castelli Romani, the Costantini family has been producing wine since 1721. Since we arrived in Genzano, we have been producing wine without ever interrupting the tradition. With our 300 years of activity, we are among the oldest wineries in the Castelli Romani and probably in all of Italy. The philosophy of the winery has always been to preserve the family character of the production. The vinification takes place in the premises of the historical center of the town of Genzano di Roma using traditional methods and equipment, passed down from father to son, but with attention to new production techniques.Today, Cantina Costantini is a complete 360° agricultural company. Over the years, we have expanded our production beyond wine to include extra virgin olive oil and fruit, which we use to create our artisanal preserves. Our vineyards are located in the areas of Montegiove and Presciano, in the municipalities of Genzano di Roma and Lanuvio. In these areas, the soils are volcanic, giving our wines body and minerality. The cultivated grapes aim to showcase our original territory. The Malvasia Puntinata, Bellone, and Cesanese varieties are of the highest quality and are accompanied by other locally typical specialties such as Trebbiano, Montepulciano, and Cacchione. The regional native heritage is then complemented by international grape varieties such as Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, which express different characteristics in each production area.
