Take a break on the Langhe ridge with Piedmontese black pigs

"Immerse yourself in nature and become enchanted by the splendid views of the Langhe, a UNESCO-world Heritage Site. The Romero-De La Cruz family runs their farm from a historic farmhouse that dates back to the eighteen century, a picturesque estate where time seems to have stopped. Upon your arrival, Andrea will tell you about the free-range breeding of the Piedmontese black pig, first recognized in 2020 as the only Piedmontese breed of pig. You will get to know what other animals are raised on the farm, such as horses, alpacas and goats that are milked daily. Afterwards, Kelly, Santiago and Alma will prepare you a rustic snack alongside a tasting in the farmyard, with salami, goat-milk ricotta and fittatas, all created with products from the the farm. Accompanying this small meal will be a glass of natural wine or a local craft beer, produced within a kilometer of the farm. You have the option of enjoying your snack in the fields of the farm overlooking the Langhe, with picnic blankets provided by us. At the end of the experience, each couple will be given a ""To-Go"" Box as a souvenir, containing salami and a slice of lard from our own Piedmontese black pigs. Horse-back riding for children is available upon request. For this special event, we offer ice cream made with milk from our goats. On Fridays and Saturdays, guests can bake their own bread and focaccia in the village oven."
