Walk in the woods of the langa with alpacas and picnic

Immerse yourself in nature and be enchanted by the splendid views of the Langhe UNESCO World Heritage Site. In a mansion dating back to the 1700s, the Romero-De La Cruz family runs this farm where time seems to stand still. After a briefing introducing the world of alpacas, you will set off leading these magnificent animals by the rope through the woods adjacent to the farm , difficulty of the trail easy. Total duration 90 minutes. On the way back you will be accompanied by Andrea to learn about the wild breeding of Piedmontese black pigs the only breed of pigs from Piedmont, recognized in 2020. You will get to know the other animals on the farm such as horses, alpacas and the goats. When you return, you will be given a basket for your picnic, which you can eat in the charming farmhouse or after a walk in the nearby woods (depending on weather conditions). The picnic menu includes salami and lard from the Piedmontese black pig raised by the farm, herb and anchovy omelet and butter, a bottle of natural local wine for every two people (beer or juice alternatively per person), water and bread.
