Riding through lava flows and breathtaking views

After the first 15 minutes in the saddle, we will embark on a ring-route on forest paths leading to Monte Vetore. On the way we will encounter the Grotta dell'Immacolata and cross lava flows of different dates. I will guide you, riding my trusty horse. Finally reaching the summit of Monte Vetore, we will stop for a 2-course lunch at the refuge (included). Before retracing our steps (or our footsteps), we will admire splendid views: the Riviera dei Ciclopi, Ortigia, Mount Etna and the Valle del Bove. We will then return to the meeting point, following different forest paths than the previous ones. We will cover approximately 18 km in 4 hours, for a total experience of 6 hours/8 hours. The experience is suitable from the age of 16. To participate, experience on horseback is required: knowledge of the three gaits (gait, trot, gallop) is required.
