Oil tour - Experience and tasting

A genuine experience in the heart of Sicily. You will visit our Farruggia Brothers' Nettare d'Oliva farm, which has been involved in extra virgin olive oil production for decades. We will walk among the olive trees as we tell you about the various native cultivars and their diversity, the phenological cycle of the plants and the various cultivation techniques. After explaining how extra virgin olive oil is obtained from the olive we will visit the olive press for an explanation of the processes of turning olives into oil. At the end of the tour there will be a rich tasting of oils, wine and typical local products: olives, cheese, bruschetta accompanied by artisanal wine from the area. An experience between culture and gastronomy of our beloved land!
