Dinner in the vineyard in the Roero: the Moon and the Ciabot

At the end of summer we are waiting for you for a special moment surrounded by nature: a dinner among the Nebbiolo and Barbera vineyards The dates for 2024 are: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 and SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2024. The venue is the vineyard of MAURIZIO PONCHIONE historic family-run winery in Govone, a wine-growing village on the border between Langhe and Roero a few kilometers from Alba, which is home to the beautiful Royal Savoy Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 'welcome begins from 6:30 pm at the winery for registration, after which we will move to the vineyard with a short walk between the rows, to reach the top of the hill Bricco Albazzi and the historic Ciabot located between the rows of Barbera. From 7 p.m. at Ciabot we serve the aperitif to welcome guests, followed by from 7:45 p.m. we will serve dinner, which will take place outdoors, with seating along the rows, with a single table between the rows; Please remember that single tables cannot be reserved; the dinner celebrates sharing and conviviality, the tables are also arranged along the row for a location-related need (separate tables would not fit), as you can see from the photos. Bathrooms are available in the cellar; if needed, a shuttle will be there to accompany you. Dinner will be a typical Piedmontese 4-course menu, paired with wines from the winery. It is possible to have vegetarian menu, in this case please write to the organization at the number provided after the reservation.
