Olive Experience - Walk among the olive trees

Olive Experience was born from the awareness that of how unknown the world and the olive oil supply chain are to most people. Olive Esperience aims to raise awareness of the world of olives and oil with a pleasant walk in the middle of the olive grove, which overlooks the entire Val D'Orcia! It's a walk where I talk about our adventure and the passion for such a noble product. After a brief introduction to present the farm and the owners, we proceed walking towards the central "corridor" of the olive grove from which we have a total view of the company's hills. Here a first stage serves to explain the characteristics of the olive plant, the curiosities and, with the help of a representative poster, the production of olives. During the explanation of the first poster you can sit on a bench in the shade of the plants. We then continue along the main corridor until we reach the second stage where, through a second poster and a small display of the equipment, the various olive harvesting techniques are explained Subsequently we continue along the hill (2 minutes) to arrive at the third stop under a large centuries-old oak tree where, with the help of a third poster, the oil extraction technique at the nearby oil mill is explained. At this point guests are free to enter the olive trees to findthe peace and beauty of nature and then they can go to the shop where they will be offered a taste of oil on hot bruschetta while enjoying the splendid panorama of Val D'Orcia valley The tour lasts approximately 1 hour.
