One date only, December 14, to participate in our Christmas food workshop. We will prepare together “La Busela” the typical dessert of the Oltrepadana tradition.
La busela is a sweet that in the past was made with leftover bread to cheer children's Christmas. Shaped like a doll, it had eyes and features made with raisins, cloves and cocoa. The version still found today is slightly different from the original, but we will prepare the original recipe. To the bread and sugar mixture we will add three different sized fava beans: one whole, one peeled in half and the last one completely peeled.
The meaning of this gesture? We will find out during the workshop!
At the end of the activity there will be a happy lunch based on local products: appetizer, seasonal risotto and the dessert we prepared accompanied by zabajone cream.
