Falconry on horseback

If you love animals and dream of a unique experience in contact with nature, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We will take you on a fascinating journey among horses and birds of prey, discovering the ancient art of falconry. The experience begins with an educational tour among the aviaries, where you will get a close look at our 56 birds of prey, many of which have been rescued and cared for at our facility. You'll meet barn owls, eagle owls, tawny owls, vultures, buzzards, hawks, kestrels, and even eagles, learning trivia and biological characteristics of each species. After this initial introduction, we will get into the nuts and bolts of falconry practice. You will put on your falconer's glove and try to call to the fist some of our raptors, such as buzzards and owls, experiencing the thrill of interacting directly with these extraordinary animals. The most evocative moment of the experience comes in the saddle: You will get on horseback for a guided walk of about 20 minutes, during which you can call raptors to the fist while standing on horseback, just as medieval falconers did. IMPORTANT: Maximum weight allowed for horseback riding is 80 kg.
