0.0 / 5Did you know that Oltrepò is a perfect territory for rice cultivation? Through this experience you will discover the ancient combination of rice and saffron.
First stop Azienda agricola Zafferano Colli, here you will participate in the educational saffron self-crop. You will discover the secrets of this spice, how it is grown, harvested and processed.
We will then move to the nearby Campo dell'Oste rice field where rice is grown, which you will get to taste during the farmer's lunch. Local cheeses and cold cuts including Varzi salami, saffron risotto, dessert and wines typical of this beautiful area.
At the end of the activity it will be possible to buy on site at an agreed price the products of the farms: the Campo dell'Oste rice and Zafferano Colli excellences that have also taken their place in the pantries of Masterchef!
