Baptism of the Glove for children: the first flight with a raptor

Give your child a truly special moment with the Baptism of the Glove, the falconry experience for children designed for young explorers ages 4 and up. In complete safety and guided by an experienced falconer, children can experience the thrill of calling a bird of prey on their glove, observing it up close and discovering the magical world of birds of prey. This educational and fun activity is perfect as a first approach to falconry, with docile raptors accustomed to human contact such as owls, buzzards or small hawks. In just 30 minutes-the ideal amount of time to keep young children's attention- children will get up close and personal with feathers, talons and beaks, learning respect for nature and animals. After a brief introduction, the child will put on a real falconer's glove and, with the help of the expert, call up the raptor on his arm. At the end, he will receive the Little Falconer's Diploma, a symbolic memento of this exciting adventure. There will be no shortage of souvenir photos with the glove! Included in the experience: meeting with the falconer and raptor, mitten call test, educational and interactive explanation, photo session, final diploma. PLEASE NOTE: The experience is available in half-hour slots from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. until mid-June and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. from mid-June to the end of September.
