Wild herbs are a wealth, health-wise and gastronomically, they were always used by humans in times of crop famine as food and frequently used in the past for their medicinal or therapeutic virtues. During the walk you will learn to recognize the most well-known and frequently used herbs still used in cooking today. At the end of the walk you will be given a handout with a description of the herbs encountered and suggested recipes for their use, and tasted a herbal tea made from the herbs collected during the walk.

What to expect

Departure from the farm for an easy walk lasting about 1 hour, during which the wild herbs encountered along the way, their use in cooking and nutritional properties will be explained. Upon return, handover of handouts and tasting of an herbal tea made from the collected herbs and a rustic herb cake.
